Sounds like it had a bad PIP sensor (PO335). Now you need to clear that code after replacing the PIP sensor. It does not have a pick-up coil only a switch.

Sounds like a rodent problem.
Check the wiring between the ECM and the Injectors and with a test light make sure the injectors have power on the Red wire with the key in the run position.
