Good point. I'll have to keep that in mind. Interestingly enough the old Holley was rated at 7 PSI. This new Carter is rated at 5.5 to 6.5 PSI.

I don't have to do anything. It will usually fire up immediately. The fluttering sound really gets noticeable when it starts to flutter and you push on the accelerator, but it still dies.

The modified 400 in my '53 appears to have gotten a virus. It will run fine then will start to get a flutter sound to the engine and just die. Put it in neutral, coast to a stop and it will fire...

Mine is stamped in the same spot, on that front cross member that the radiator support sits on. I have nothing stamped on my frame rails.

Your local driveline shop can set you up, too. I got a complete driveshaft custom made locally for my '53 for right around $200. They are not that hard to measure, the shop will tell you how.
