I am putting a 2007 Crown vic engine and drive train into a 77 F100.

I pulled a good-working I6 and C-4 that I can't use. Free to you if you can pick up. I've got a hoist so we can get it into...

Overtorque error

I did something stupid. Again. I amaze myself sometimes.

2007 Ford 4.6L (Crown Vic) motor. Putting it into a 77 F100. Took it apart to check the timing chains and look at valve wear. It was...

I knew you guys would have good answers. Thanks a lot.

I think my easiest path is to look for a 90s F-150 tank (the small ones match dimensions almost exactly to the 19 gal F-100 tank). :-drink

:-X0A6 No pics because I am nowhere near done. All I've got is the IFS mounted to the frame. I have test fit the engine and transmission and there is plenty of room.

I appreciate all the...

Want opinions on engine compartment paint.

I put a 2007 Crown Vic IFS into my 77 F100. Decided to go with the engine and transmission from the Crown Vic too.

Previously the engine compartment was low gloss black with a 300 I6.

I'm...

I rebuilt a 77 F-100 (300CI I6 w C4) a few years back. Now that I am much wiser, I want to do it again and correct a lot of sloppiness I put in.

I want to put in a 2003+ Crown Vic drive train. ...

77 F100 IFS without the drop?

I'm thinking of putting in a crown Vic IFS but I don't particularly want the 4" drop. Any good way to go with IFS while keeping stock ride height??

I assume you mean the crankshaft dampener when using it to set timing.

I didn't trust the readings on mine either. What you need to do is buy a piston stop tool. If you scan the web you'll get a...
