Sounds like a nightmare.


The 5.4 and 4.6 will never compare in reliability to the 300's; my opinion.
I'm not impressed with the top-end designs of the modulars.
Who designs a sparkplug...

Check the front sway-bar endlinks; they tend to be a "wear" item, not hard to replace though. Replace them with endlinks that have zerk fittings(greaseable).

I had the same tires on my 1/2 ton 4X4. I used to run them at 45psi front/40psi rear. But that 1/2 ton is a lot lighter too.

In the dry, loose stuff; I had good experience with BFG AT KO tires, E-rated.
Only stuff they struggle in is mud and muck.

It could be one of your sparkplug coils gettin' weak.
You could also check the FPDM module; It's under the truck bed, above the spare tire. They are notorious for giving fuel issues...
