So very true. :-X22 I don't use the truck enough to justify it's existence and expense any more, so the Grand Cherokee WJ is better suited for me as a second vehicle.

I gave up fighting with my POS truck, so I threw a large 'For sale' sign on the windshield, let it aggravate someone else. I'll enjoy the '03 Grand Cherokee that I just got a whole lot better.

you will need to change the flywheel and spacer plate on the 5.0 if you use the ZF5 trans- that trans was used on the 4.9 and 5.8 which both used the 164 tooth flywheel, the 5.0 uses the 157 tooth...

I looked at the Dorman part a few weeks ago, I had to pass on it. It does not have any timing marks on it, only a 1/8" width groove which I suppose is for 0* at TDC.

Repinning is easy. See the red "divider" inside of the plugs? Use some slender, long needle nose pliers and pull the divider out, then you can pull out each wire from the back side of the connector.

looking for an oddball part for my '90 F250
