Also check to make sure when you turn the cap...

Also check to make sure when you turn the cap that the plate moves when you turn it the other direction also. If it does not then the cap was installed incorrectly and you will need to take it off...

it will bolt up to the automatic trans with no problems, standard is a little different story but will still bolt up.. motor mounts are not the same but you have everything you need with the donor...

I think your carb is icing up on you if you have a factory air cleaner make sure the hose from the exhaust manifold is hooked up and the flapper is working to draw air across the manifold to warm it...
