How would one do that? The pipes are flared out at the collector end. They couldnt recess inside it?

With that said, I have used both modified packs (extra leafs) and Zero rates from ORD and they work great; you could a touch longer...

If I had to guess I'd bet its pissing out of the oil cooler. Tho your pinpointed turbo pedistal leak may be going down the hole in the bellhousing. Is the clutch slipping in high gears?
