It's a piece of black plastic that was installed on many of the EB's to deflect air from crossing the CAC thus raising the temps inside the CAC slightly in hopes of reducing the condensation build up.

Not enough ride difference to justify the cost, but the Fox and Icon 2.0 (non piggy back) are good options. I liked the way the Icons handled by tire upgrade.

Did you purchase the vehicle pre-owned? Was it lifted or leveled when you bought it? If yes, then it's likely the previous owner tuned for a larger size...
