Thank you, but I already found a T19. FYI it was a 1980 Scout version with D20 transfer case and driveshafts - paid $500 CDN (about $400 USD).

Kerosene sounds better than "Varsol". If memory serves, "camp fuel" is kerosene. I'll post another picture after cleaning.

Here's the internals of the T19 after a "wipe down". There's still surface rust on many of the teeth. Perhaps some gentle steel wool treatment will be sufficient to take the iron oxide away.

There's a place in town called "Slick Coatings" that can apply various 'plastics' to surfaces... they can apply Teflon. I'll take the transmission cover over to them next week and ask if they can...

WTB F250 Borg-Warner T19 close-ratio 4 speed transmission. Transmission should have synchro 4:1 first gear, probably from 1983-86 6.9 diesel or 460V8. Will need to get the transmission to Vancouver...
