If you check with eastwood IIRR, they have what is called a shrinking hammer/dolly......for the amateur, this is what IMHO I would recommend for pulling the metal back out a little closer...

FYI- when I have to replace a pan gasket 9or reinstall) I use a technique from the 40's.....I take a piece of thread and loop it through the holes of the pan and gasket...it always holds the gasket...

Ford doesn't use timing belts.....they use timing chains.....and are much more durable than belts....only replaced when the guides or hydraulic tensioners fail...which causes engine...
