Diamond eye exhaust on a 00 Ex.
 

I went order a new Diamond Eye 4" for my 2000 Excursion. The shop said that the Diamond eye catalog only goes to 2001. Is there a difference from a 2000 to 2001? I have the 7.3 and its a 4x4.

I ordered mine last week from Alligator Performance. With a nice chrome tip, it was $305 to my door.

I installed it Wednesday night. Make sure of the following.

1. Have 2 people
2. Make sure that you have a sawzaw with extra blades
3. Remove transmission crossmember before installing new exhaust.
4. Be patient as the instructions that come with it, are just a guide.

The sound is good. I see no real performance increase, but at least it breaths better.
