Know of a sandblaster in Texas?

I'm in Dallas area and need a recommendation for someone who can sandblast my bed and prime it till I have the rest of the body ready for paint. I can't seem to find anyone using the yellow pages.. Know anyone?

Check into sodablasting

I live in the houston area, and i was about ready to sandblast unitl my attention was turned to sodablast. it is by far way better than snadblsting, with sandblasting you will usually get small pits on your truck, but with sodablast its a powder that is hitting the metal instead of sand, its very reasonably priced, around $175 an hour and usually they can blast a full size truck in four hours, and it looks terrific when its done

I seen Cottinham or one of the TV guys do that. Pretty slick stuff literally.

Is that pretty much the average rate? $175/hr? I have been debating having someone do the bed for me as it is going to be a pain.

Any pits left from blasting is from where rust was. Unless someone is using aluminum oxide or carborendum for media, the surface will not be affected from media. Low grade sand will break down very easily and not cause any deformation or pitting of panels.
