'89 Bronco Graphics

After years of saying I was going to get rid of my Bronco, I have decided to fix the tailgate, wheel wells, and repaint it. My Bronco is white with a blue top, and the sides have blue stripes with a blue 4 X 4. Where can I get similar graphics for the truck?

You have a Bronco that has the 4x4 insignia? That's odd. Wasn't aware that Ford put the 4x4 decals on the Bronco at all. The striping shouldn't be too difficult... the google search results for "vinyl striping" go on for days. Not aware of any particular vendor specializing in the actual OEM Ford decals.

Interesting! I bought the truck when I lived in California with 5,700 miles on it. The dealer told me that Ford had owned the truck previously. After I had it awhile I noticed in certain light that the tailgate did not match the truck. I have also found that there is a second layer of paint on the driver's side door. I have come to think that unbenounced to me, it was wrecked when Ford had it! Now I am wondering if the graphics on it were not standard Ford. I will try and upload a picture of the graphics from my album. If it doesn't work just look there.

Do that, please. To the best of my knowledge, Ford never put the "4x4" decals on the side of the Bronco... why bother since all Broncos were so from the factory? The only occurrence of the "4x4" insignia on the Bronco that I am aware of is the chromed plastic version that appeared below the driver's headlamp on the 87-91 models. But this was standard for all 4x4 F-series trucks of the era as well.

BTW, the code for inserting images into posts can be found in a link below each picture in your gallery.

Putting 4X4 on the side of a Bronco is almost like putting MUSTANG vinyl on the windshield of a Mustang. When your truck is the King of Off-road, everyone already knows it's 4 wheel drive.
You'd be better off putting 4x2 vinyl on the Bronco and then entering it in a truck pull to really hurt some feelings. :D

That honestly looks like a "dealer package" graphic. Ford would not have gone through the tedious process of applying a vinyl stripe IN the concave portion of the body line on the truck when striping above or below it would look better and be simpler to do with a machine. My wife had a *cough* Chevy Cavalier *cough* in college that had a stupid vinyl "Z-17" graphic on the front fenders. I have no idea if the track arms on a Cavalier are 17" long or not but the "Z" designation was indicative of the track arm length on those vehicles that bore the factory insignia.

As a result of the above story, I can see some bonehead dealer deciding a Bronco needed a "4x4" decal.
