01 focus
 

I need a little help with diagnostics on a 01 focus with a 4cyl. zetech and 5speed trany. The ABS, BRAKE and transmission light will come on and flash. All the gauges will swipe erratically. Then the vehicle will stall or cut out like it is starving for fuel. Has never completely died just stumbles and surges. The kicker, there are no CTDC's and I haven't been able to monitor live data from PID's. This all seems to happen under a load such as acceleration or turning. Please Help!!!

Unfortunately, I doubt you'll get much help on this...FTE is a truck site and the engine you're asking about wasn't installed in any trucks. It's possible that someone here may have some knowledge of this particular engine and have an answer, so there's still some hope there...
