which 04 truck to buy
 

i am a loyal ford man i have an 85 mustang gt (my first car that i still own and drive) and drove an explorer through college and highschool as well. im looking at buying an 04 f150 fx4 on craigslist upon googling problems im hearing a lot about sparkplug problems and something about trucks made at certain plants during certain times. anybody know which factory not to buy a truck that was produced there and where can i look on the truck to see that information when i go to look at it? please help i dont want to buy anything but ford but i also can afford new engines and crap like that!!!

i meant to say cant i most definitely CANNOT afford engines and similar crap

not sure about the plants but from what i hear its best to change the plugs long before the scheduled maintenance I am going to change mine at 60000

You'd better do them at 50K....60K is pushing it a bit. At 54K, a few of mine were "difficult", but they did not break.
