Wideband O2
I've been working on my MAF conversion on my ('93, f-150, 393 stroker, E4OD) truck for way too long. I just have a couple of questions that I can't seem to find.
I've purchased a pcm for a '95 5.0 E4OD, WAY1 (F5TF-JB), and am wondering about the wideband O2 sensor. Do I need to have duel O2s running, b/c I'm running true duels? For that matter; duel gauges, are the gauges even needed? And, does the wideband have to have a digital serial output? I assume that it should, is I am having to burn the pcm (Moates I'm pretty sure) Also, do I need to keep the stock one going to the pcm, or can I wire the wicked expensive one (pair) into its place? So Many questions... Still |
You need to keep the original 02 sensor hooked up , just put it in the pass side pipe , then put the wideband sensor in the other pipe , you need a gauge to read the AF ratio , don't know anything about the moates tunner.....Lew

Here's what I did. I used an A9L computer, which has inputs for 2 O2 sensors.
