1977 ford f150 4x4 single cab stepside
1977 f150 shortbed stepside 4x4. 351m engine with good compression and good oil pressure. 4 speed manual np435 trans with granny first gear. np205 transfer case, 9" 31 spline open rear, dana 44 open knucle solid front axle. All mechanicals work fantastic. Trans doesn't grind, clutch doesn't slip. Transfer case and 4x4 work. New fuel sender, gas gauge works. New egr and egr plate. Runs fantastic. Failed ca smog, carb works ok, but needs rebuild. AZ plates, but started cali reg and all fees paid. It's been cab swapped in the past with a 75 cab. No buck tags or data plates on the truck, but the proper vin is viewable on the frame. I just need the money and want to buy something cali smog exempt. 2 new rear tires, fronts should be replaced. 33x12.50x15 with two spares which are bad too, but wheels are the same as what's on the truck. Truck was painted base/clear by p/o about 2 months ago. Garage paint job but turned out decent for a 4x4. No rust on body...some dents on fender, but was that way when I bought it. $3950....

lets try a bump to this...i've got it listed locally for 5 grand. I'll take 4grand from a board member. I've really dialed this in well..it runs absolutely fantastic and everything works. It's got a valid california smog on it that transfers to the new owner for another 2 months....clean cali title. Engine has good compression and oil pressure...however I'll throw in a 460 to go with the deal from a 77 van...as I was gonna swap it out. I'm selling only for cash to finish my 66 mustang

Very nice...
|
thanks...gave it away last week for $1800 locally on craigslist, then bought me a 99 crown vic police interceptor with low miles for a daily driver. Losing my job, so I had to get something more practical to drive around..
Trucks have absolutely NO resale value in cali :(...I only paid $1500 for it, and put $500 into it and enjoyed it for 6 months, so no regrets. |
sweet truck
|
thankx...it's all gone...sold to some random guy off craigslist for $1800 to use as a work truck :(
|
needs to be a show truck! what color is that? looks good
|
idk, was some custom color mixed by the p/o....he liked to call it battleship grey

1977 Ford F150 Stepside
I'm pretty sure I just bought this truck off of the guy you sold it to. If it is the same truck can you please tell me where the VIN can be found on the frame? I've been looking everywhere for it.
|
small world man...I've got a million questions for you. LOL, I didn't think that guy would last long with the truck, he didn't know mechanicals.
call me 951 453 2714 and I'll tell you everything Jeremy |
the frame vin is passenger stamped into the top of the upper portion of the frame....next to the front caB mount... you may need to wire brush the frame to see it...hope this helps and hope you did buy that truck, it needs to be a driver not a beat on work truck...
|
Great guy!! He bought it, and it's not gonna be a beat on work truck any longer, it went to a great home where it'll live a long life appreciated for what it is :)
|
thank god i wanted a stepside and the wife says when other projects are done....can't save em all atleast one made it through the loop...
