Movies with the 6th Gen. Trucks!

I love watching an old movie, and amist all of the traffic in a movie seen, i can point out an old Dent in the crowd! So i wanted to start a thread with a list of movies where a Dent can be spotted in and which seen!

I'd like to start the thread off with one of my very favorite movies, Maximum overdrive!

You can see a dent at the very beginning credits as it (silver reg. cab, shortbox, without side trim) and once the bridge is all the way up there is a 73-77 green Dent as well! :-X24

Kurt Russell drives a '77 (I think) 2WD Supercab in the movie "Dreamer" You can see it in the promo trailer on youtube: YouTube - Trailer: Dreamer
Come to think of it, I think he drove a Dent in the movie "Backdraft," too.

There's a bunch of dents spread out in Smokey and the Bandit, I noticed last time I watched it.

Urban Cowboy is one of my favorites too. The truck sits high but it is actually a 2 wheel drive, you can see the twin I beams in one of the shots of him driving it. It has the Lariat pkg. You can see that nice cloth Lariat seat and door panels when they jump in it soaking wet.:-arrgh

I just went and watched the expedables last night (awesome movie) but one of the trailers was for "The last exorcism" (your run of the mill stupid horror flick) but in the first 30 seconds is a light blue 76 or 77(i think so dont hold me to that) dent. Haha and the rest of the trailer is garbage. Go figure they put the psycho redneck kid in a dent... I hate when they do that in movies.

And i know how ya feel everytime i watch a movie i can pick em out.

I'm not gonna hold ya to it lol, but that blue one is a '72.

Looks like that is a Bump Side 71 or 72 I would say. At least in "Live and Die in LA" the 79 4X4 is driven by a Hero and the truck has lots of screen time. Plus its a good movie especially if you're a Californian! (IMHO)

HOW COULD YALL FORGET!? Uncle Jessie's truck in the original Dukes of Hazzard series!! It's a great show to see a 2wd dent pushed to its off-road limits!! Also, if im not mistaken, the woman in Double Jeopardy drives a green dent around a while.

I just saw an old John travolta, Sydney Poitier movie. John drives a early model dent with the long flare side bed throughout the movie. I think the movie is called "White mans burden".

Ive also noticed more on the road in the past few years.

Last night I was watching Predator 2 & the drug dealers were behind one, 78 or 79, & shooting at the cops.

Most recent movie I've seen is Harrison Ford in Extraordinary Measures. Several scenes throughout the entire movie of him driving a nice all original looking dentside.
