2002 4.0 Liter V6 Engine Oil Capacity

Has anyone changed the oil of their Explorer's 4.0 liter V6 with one of those 5 liter (5.28 qt) jugs? I'm wondering if the extra 0.28 qts is significantly over capacity.

The extra quarter quart won't hurt anything. You don't have to let the bottle sit and drain for a while, just dump the oil in. Some oil will remain clinging to the inside of the container.
