Factory Jack

I have had my truck for over 5 years and just never have gotten to replacing the factory jack that was missing when I bought it. Can someone post a picture of the the jack and how it mounts under the rear seat so I will have an idea of what I'm looking for. Also does anyone know where I can buy one?

I'd check on Ebay for one......

I keep a 20 ton bottle jack in my tool box so I don't have to use that crappy jack that came with my truck. I also keep a 1/2" drive ratchet with extenison and deep socket to take the lugs off.

You may find one at a salvage yard. :)

Here is mine
Securing screw knob is outwards towards the door (1st pic)
I also stuck in pc of foam at the top of the jack. (rattle rattle) (2nd pic)

Need a better picture or a different view. Let me know. It was pretty dark in the garage and pictures came out kind of crummy. But i think you get the picture.

Hey. My seat don't do that.. My jack is behind the seat and only the back of the seat will come forward a little way. What is the deal with this.

Both driver side (small, with cargo net under for all my straps) and passenger side (big, half the bench)lift like that. Nice sometimes to lift both to pack in more "stuff'

Thanks for the pictures. That what I needed to see. Looks like I can get one pretty easy off ebay but they all are out of '08's and I wanted to mack sure they are the same. The torx bolt that holds the seat down is missing too. Guess I will have to find one of those.

20 ton seems to be overkill,I only used a 12 ton for my tri-axle dumps

I know it is overkill for the truck empty, but I have trailers with dual tandems I pull and with a load it comes in handy. I do keep my 12 ton in my shop for working on the vehicles.

The 12 ton would lift any wheel easily with 80k gross
If I would be legal you would be allowed 22500 per rear axle or 11250 per wheel little over 5.5 tons

Are there and brackets that hold the jack in place or is only the knob your picture shows

No brackets to take off. Just remove the knob and the jack comes out. The knob screws into the little bracket(pinch) Just kind of sits there. That was why i added the little rubber pad. Used to drive me nuts over the pumps. The noise that took me a while to find.

More to see for yea.

I bought a 10 ton bottle jack at walmart for around 10/15 buckets. For the 5th wheel.

I Used it to jack up c class motorhome once to change the rear dually flat. Only time i ever used it. Still in the box in the storage compartment of the 5vr. Going to use it to level porch soon.

I would almost bet yea that that bottle jack will fit in the place of were the factory jack on the truck is supposed to go.. Hummmmmm.. JACK MOD. Heading up to the camper now to get the golf cart. I am just going to have to take a look at that bottle jack and see if she fits.

Just like mine. Dan must have a SC and you have a CC.
