In 2000, the 7 lug trucks had a F150 7700 emblem on the tailgate. I remember trying to find 7-150 lug pattern custom wheels for those darn things.

I typed that number into (trademotion) PartsGuyEd.com's site, applications sez: 2001/2003.

I looked in my 1990/2001 catalog (on microfiche) in the moulding sections, but only looked at 1997/99, cuz someone said it was used in the late 1990's.

That was me, my old boss had one on his feminine body styled truck (late 90's)

AFAIK there's no real difference between the late 90's F250 light duty and the early 2000's F150 7700. They're basically just a heavy duty F150 with 7 lug wheels. I think they just changed the name cause it was too confusing having 2 different F250's (light duty & Super Duty) that were completely different trucks.

How did '90s F-150s get talked about in this forum...?
Let's get back on track and start talking about '61-'66s.

There's at least 1 '65 and 2 '66 F250 4X4's up here in broadwater county, MT with throttle cables. They could be dealer added accessories, but the original owners did not specify for them to come with the truck.

Dad had a 350 that had a throttle. Also had a pull cable on the left upper part dash for the floor air vent .

I *think* all '61 to '64's, '65 4X4's and '66 F250 4X4's had these.

Numbers Dummy - Thanks for the production and survival rate numbers ! I have always wondered around how many of my style were out there: 66 F100 4X4 flareside (stepside) longbed. Glad I have held on to it. My great uncle bought it brand new and I still have original window sticker. !!! I will be starting the restoration in about a month or 2. Thanks again

Just bought a '66 flareside that has the left tire on the side.

It is a straight 6 240 with a 4 speed on the floor..

How rare was the option for the spare tire on the drivers side?

This picture came from a 64 brochure showing the Sports package. The seats were the same as was found in the 63 Falcon as was the console.

This truck was for sale. Pretty rough but well worth saving. Note the seats, either the same as the Econoline or the same as the seats in the 64 Thunderbolt. Possibly an early version of the sports package. I do believe the console to be incorrect for this truck. This is the same console as used in the 65, 66 Rangers and is from a 64, 65 Falcon. There is a possibility that some of the later Sports package trucks had this console, but as mentioned above the seats appear to be from an earlier version. There is not a lot of information available on these trucks and it is hard to tell for sure just what is correct and what is not, I am trying to learn as much as I can about these trucks.

Two other trucks have surfaced with the same seat, console combination! The first of the most recent two was posted on Craigs List around Oct 2012, pictures also were posted on Slick 60s in same time frame. The most recent, last week, also was posted on Craigslist but sold the next day. Having looked at all three vin plates the only similar codes are the E81 body codes. All three trux all had special order numbers after the DSO code. These three were not RANGERS.
