BEST YEAR FOR 5.4 DOHC MOTORS
 
What year or years is best for the 5.4 dohc lincoln navi motors? Also wondering what the trq/hp numbers are?

I think certain years are the best for hp/trq like early 2000's. 1999-2003 I am thinking, but not sure.

Depending on what you want to put it in I'd suggest looking into DOHC 4.6L's, the Navi engine had a pathetic torque curve considering they are in a truck chassis. AFAIK there were no differences between the different model years, but if Ford did discover a problem early on they would have fixed it by '03 or '04.
