05 turbo wont spool

My Father-in-laws 05 F250 has no boost. I took it for a drive today and it takes along time to build RPM's. the boost gauges doesnt move until you get over 50mph. (which takes 3/4 of a mile to get up to 50mph) and when it does move it only goes to about 2 (two) PSI. I pulled the EGR valve and cleaned it. Nothing changed. Disconnected the cat converter and again, nothing changed. Checked the map sensor line it was clean.
The turbo doesnt whistle or anything. It acts like mine did when i blew a IC boot off. Just runs on all motor. All the boots are tight, none cracked or broke.
Anyone have any ideas before we take it to the stealership?

Plugged EBP tube or dirty MAP would be what I looked at first.

i checked the map hose it wasnt dirty at all. How can i check the map sensor? ill pull the EBP tube later tonight.

The tube it's self gets plugged with carbon then the sensor can't get a reading.

yeah I had the EBP tube clog up on my 7.3 a few years ago. How can I check the MAP sensor tho??

Turbo vanes could be stuck open...do you have a way to read trouble codes?

Disconnect the EBP sensor and try it.

Do you have a way to look at Baro, MAP and EBP all together at idle? They should all be very close.

MAF/IAT1 sensor connected up?

IAT2 sensor issues can also cause power problems. Is it properly connected?

Are you getting good fuel flow to the upper fuel filter? I assume you do not have a fuel pressure gauge? It is very helpful in troubleshooting and worth getting.

Is the oil level OK - extreme level and/or fuel dilutiuon can be a problem that could create low power.

I would guess that you have made sure that there are no extreme intake or exhaust leaks?

Codes would be nice as Steve suggetsed. Is the VGT solenoid properly connected?

I have no way of reading codes. He is taking it to the dealership tomorrow to let them read the codes. I'm wanting to get an autoentegrity but i don't have the extra $450.
