A little help with turn signal/wiper switch wires, please?
I had to replace the bearings in my steering column, which took 2 days from start to finish in 90-100F heat. Tonight i finished, but the right turn signal would blink fast when the steering wheel was tilted downward, but not up. I found a wire that was pulling out of the connector at the switch assembly when the steering wheel was tilted downward. I removed the switch assembly to snap the wire and its metal connector back into the harness, but more wires fell out! I disconnected the battery after 2 of the wires touched.
I dont know which holes to put the wires back into in the grey connector. If someone would generously take a photo of the back of the grey plastic connectors, i would be very thankful for your help. Here is a poor cell phone picture of my problem. http://bigdavephotography.com/misc/turnsignalwires.jpg |
