Also I might add that if you do have so many questions perhaps posting them in a new thread instead of high-jacking bo's thread would be good forum mannerds also. Just my .02c

Fair enough, I've done a bit of grinding myself and am curious of the eventual #'s.

Through all this I never saw on accurate cc capacity for the F3TE heads. Does anyone have that. I'm in the process of building a 521 and need that spec for the kit builder. Thanks

Go to 460ford . com and ask Scotty aka the mad porter.

Thanks, appreciate it.

Hey bud, if you get the answer can you repost it here. That way we'll have a one stop for all of this great info. |
Scotty said the F3TE heads were around 95cc's.

Cool, looking forward to results! My setup was 468, stock f3 heads that I just cleaned up, custom torquer cam, 5psi vortech and it made 305/420 rwhp/rwtq thru 35x12.5's. Your's will be much more, sweet!

We are working on re-producing this "kit" as it has been so hard to locate and it seems the interest is still very much there. It will be available with a "plug and play" piggy-back ecu, injectors, in line fuel pump, cnc ported heads, optional cam, many different stages. Don't mean to make this a sales pitch but there is a lot we are working on right now for the old 7.5L EFI and we are expecting 500-600whp on 91 octane pump gas easily. I have some of the best tuners and connections in the industry to make this happen, and it seems like the demand is there to reproduce a modernized bolt-on kit version of the vortech kit that was available back in the day.
I sponsor and work closely with this racer Matt Culpepper (also a lightning guy) sponsored by myself and Stinger Performance. This is a STREETABLE 9 second door slammer pump gas 4 banger on ported factory iron heads block and manifold. Just to give you an idea of what we are capable of.....The plug and play "PIMP" ECU we are working on will basically the same hardware as the ECU in this 9 second 4 banger pass in the vid. Old combo with mild porting, small .400" lift cam, T5 trans, not very good tune up: New combo**** (much better vid!!!!) ****with basically same head but larger (still tiny) /.520" 240@.050" solid roller cam, 20# boost, little bigger turbo, Doug Nash 5 speed trans, A LOT of chassis breaking/tuning/work, P.I.M.P ECU tuned by someone who all I can say was heavily involved with Ford's Roush-Yates E.F.I. Cup cars. I want to see some 3 ton GASSERS giving some Powerstroke, Durascatter and Cummins a run for their money! Well, maybe not the fuel MPG Dept :-X04:-arrgh:D |
