I broke the line going from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder and 2 U joints last week. My first real off road damage. Not really much of a story though.

So how did you get on the other side of thoes trees in the first place Oreo?

Fords get stuck??! :)

I've really only ever gotten stuck with my ford in deep snow. Once in about 2ft of snow down by the woods where I got a nudge from an excavator (the excavator was getting the tractor out lol) And then maybe 2 times getting the plow hung up on the snow piles when opening up the driveway after a big snow fall but I've always gotten it out on it's own power.

Now my dad's 3/4 ton chevy is another story. I've gotten it stuck on the lawn (flat cut grass after a rain) Put it in 4x4 and waited for the truck to decide when it felt like it should go in 4wd, stepped on the gas and KaBam! light said it was in 4wd but it wasn't and the front diff locked in right as I stepped on the gas. Front u-joint broke, driveshaft clobbered the oil filter mount and snapped it off and engine dropped straight to 0psi oil pressure. Had to tow it back home. Then I got it stuck in the pasture and pulled it out with an S-10. Spent about 5-10 minutes stuck in the snow in it waiting for the 4wd to engage on more than one occasion. I swapped that crappy gas based diff actuator for a motor operated one after it pissed me off enough times. I'm sure I've been stuck in the chevy more times than that but those are the ones that come to mind right away. Been getting stuck a hell of a lot less after I got my Ford lol I can take it down to the woods through the pasture that the chevy got stuck in with my plow brackets digging up ground along the way and no problem at all.

It actually wasn't stuck. It was still running and would have pulled itself right back onto the road. I thought better of it and shut it off until i had time to look it over, though.

Now only if i could figure out what's wrong with the engine, i'd get it a new body.
