'87 4x4 Transfer case Shift pattern

Hello,

I have an '87 2.9l 4x4. Problem is the little cap on the 4x4 shifter is missing.

Does anyone have a pic of the pattern? I can play around and get it into 4H but it wont go into 4L. I got it into 4L once but cant figure out how I did it =).
