Here's the schematic for an 88. Your 91 used the same turn signal/hazard switch.

Note if you purchase another turn signal/hazard switch there are two types.
One is for a tilt wheel and the other is for a non tilt steering wheel.

Next picture shows the connector pin out of the turn signal/hazard switch and
how to test the switch.

turn stop hazard schematics

Many thanks for the diagrams. These may help me find a gremlin in the rear turn signal wiring. 1992 F250 E4OD 460efi . The turn-brake-stop lights all work. Found a bad emergency flasher module, replaced, not the problem. No cruse control or RABS. I have a 6vdc on the rear turn signal wires when ign is in run position. Have removed fuses one at a time in both the under dash and under hood fuse block, voltage is still there. ?? Filament type bulbs work OK, LEDs, some glow dimly when not applied. Was about to install LED tail-brake-stop lights, 3157's Suggestions---?

Six volts is more than likely zero volts. Use a loading test light and not a DVM.

I will get a test light, but I doubt the voltage will go away. There is enough current to partially light an LED turn light when no tail, turn, brake is activated.
