1993 wiper motor price at Ford dealership?
 

Anyone know how much they run at the dealership? Im doing an internship there but dont want to ask if its to much money, thanks I have one from a 94 f 150 but it only has one connecter and mine has 2

2-plug remans are 50 bucks at autozone with 10 dollar core charge. I just used one this year and it's an amazing improvement over the motor I had.

I wouldn't spend 100 bucks more for a wiper motor.

Ya I figured it would be way to much so I bought one at autozone for 47 bucks

is the autozone ones any faster than the factory motor? i know in my 90 f250 that on low or high they are incredibly slow compared to my 97 rangers wiper motor, i was debating on doing a swap from a ranger/explorer/ other ford car to be an upgrade over the factory f-series wiper motor

Chances are that your motor is shot. If it's the factory motor, it's going on 20+ years of service. Typically those motors start to slow down, then make an increasing amount of noise as the struggle. Mine was nice and quick when I bought this truck, but over a couple years it obviously slowed down and eventually stopped.

Even on low speed, the wipers seem lightning fast. I'd suggest you replace the motor.

ok, thanks, i will try changing it to a new motor and see if it helps ( in my opinion, i am kinda used to the fast speeds of car wipers ) if all else fails and i still aint happy with it i will rig up a different motor out of a ranger or likewise vehicle, if i come to that point i will take pics and give a write up of what all was involved

Mine finally stoped after going slower and slower. Is it a hard job to do?

not per say hard, just a little time consuming if you have big hands like me lol. gotta take your wiper arms off, the cowl off ( careful of the washer fluid hose ) pop the lock clip that attaches the wiper linkage to motor, with clip off slide the linkage off, pop wires off the motor, unbolt motor, swap and reverse

Ya its real easy, just remember to put the arm back on the motor the same way it came off so the wipers dont go backwards.
