Clearance Lights
I have the clearance lights on my truck, and they are the OEM amber color, and right now they match the turn signals on the front... But I am going to eventually change out the headlights to either the clear 04's or to the smoked out HD edition if I ever find any... And I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not I can change the lenses to either the clear or tinted ones and still be legal in Cali, any help is much appreciated...

I changed my lenses to clear, and used amber #194's.
The law reads that forward-facing lights can be amber or white. Rear-ward can be red or amber. White clearance lights would look stupid, at least IMNSHO! Pop |
I think smoked lenses would look great with Harley Edition headlights

But would they appear "smoky" at night with white bulbs?

I don't know if smoky's the word.....a little duller than clear though

Well I agree with you on the all white lights up top, and I honestly think the smoked out with the HD lights would be ridiculous, its all just a matter of what I can afford first... If I did go with the clear, then I would use the amber bulbs as well... I just didn't want a hassle with any LEO if I changed anything... My gf wanted me just to take them off, lol, but I told her we could do whatever we wanted to her car, but I like the lights on my truck and I want to keep them. Just maybe change the colors up.
