EXPEDITION 03 WINDOW REGULATOR cable

i have a 2003 expedition. The REGULATOR cable for the window is torn. Questions: Do i need to replace the hole component? Or is it posible to just replace the cabl, wire?.were can i get one? And how ? any triks/pics? thanks! jes7 |
No you can't replace just the cable, you have to replace the entire regulator.

I had to replace the drivers regulator on my 2003 EB. Part was about $90 delivered and reused the original motor. Search the forum, there is a very detailed port with pictures on how to change the regulator. Took me about 1.5 hours becuase I was going slow and taking my time but I could do it in 30 minutes now. |

Be careful not to get the regulator for pre-09/12/03 vehicles. It's the older non-cable type that won't fit. Here's the one you need:
