4.0 harmonic balancer removal
 

i have a 95 4.0 out of my ranger and am tearing it down to take to get rebuilt.i have took the bolt out of the balancer ,screwed it back in a little so the shaft of my 3 jawed puller will push against it.but it will not budge.i cant see anything im doing wrong but it wont pop free.i feel i have plenty of pressure on it.is there another way i should be going about this?any suggestions would be great.

ok,after carefully re-evaluating the situation.i went over to my toolbox and found a box marked--harmonic balancer remover-.i nocked the dust off and put a few bolts in the balancer and pulled it off slick as a whistle.you know your getting old when you forget what your TOOL is even used for!!
