6.0 emission test
Hey guys I just got my reminder in the mail the other day and its time to get my emissions tested! I cant wait. I have a worry or 2 as you would imagine and was wondering if anyone knew of a place that would test a truck even if it happened to be missing an emissions device or 2? Shoot me a pm if you could or email me. Thanks a lot guys I appreciate the help. Also has anyone had the test done yet on a 6.0 f350?

You could register it for 10,001lbs and then I do believe it is emissions exempt. I know our 6.0 dually is exempt from emissions testing cause it's over 10,000.

pete is right, the only downfall is the registration is only for one year instead of 2.
your 6.0 should be an obdII check, so as long as you have no check engine light you should pass. |

Is your F350 a dually, I don't see a Garage or Album for you to see for myself? I ask because I'm not sure one can register a vehicle for a GVW greater than its sticker says and if you are SRW then you'd be under 10,000 pounds.

Hey Dave, my truck is a srw. So I guess I wont be able to register for that then I believe my trucks rated at 9900. From that quote you posted it looks like all I need to do is pass the visual and a smoke test. No OBDII luckily! Thank you for the info I will just call around and see who does diesels and let you guys know what happens.
