1994 ford 7.3l turbo diesel
 

I tried to post in the classified section but it wouldnt let me.

Anyway, does anybody know what a 7.3l turbo diesel is worth out of a 94 f-250 with about 140k miles. Starts,runs and drives but does blow some smoke.

Anyone interested??????

Just the engine or the whole rig? Is it a powerstroke or an IDI?

Just the engine. Its still in the truck so I can still demo it.
I think its a powerstroke.

Depending on how clean and pretty you make it, Ive seen some powerstroke engines on craigslist anywhere from $500-1500. So Im not sure if this will help you but just trying to give you an idea.

Its a Vin K.
Cant find anywhere if thats a powerstroke, IDI or just plain turbo diesel.
I do know this engine was only offered in 94 which leads me to believe its just a turbo diesel.
But anybody know for sure?????

Its also got 250k miles on it...

If it has a auto trans it's a IDI... manual should be Powerstroke

Lift the hood and look at the engine. Can you see the hard lines running from the injector pump at the front of the engine to the fuel injectors (four on each head)? If you can see the injectors it is an IDI and not a Power Stroke.

VIN K is an IDI 7.3 turbo.

Yep, gota be. I have a late 94 di powerstroke and its a F motor.
