After front brake job, Front left wheel goes "clunk" when I brake . . .
A few weeks ago, I did a front brake job on my 97 Ranger, 2wd, V6 4.0, ext cab, 5spd. I put on new Wagner Thermoquiet ceramic pads, new rotors, and new bearings.
The truck seems to drive just fine now, except when I gently brake at lower speeds, I hear a clunk coming from the front left wheel. Occasionally it will pull to the left when I brake. I'm not sure if I did something wrong when I did these brakes. What should I look for here? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
Did you lube the caliper slidepins? Are the attaching bolts for the caliper and the lug nuts tight? Do you feel any play (side to side/ up down) with the wheel raised ?
