I was wondering what a 1976 Ford F250 Explorer was worth. It still runs, but needs renovated. Body is still in excellent shape.

I would be interested to hear comments about price too. I am going to look at a '77 F250 tomorrow. Rebuilt 460, aut, Dana 60 rear, A/C, supposed to be excelent original rust free with few minor "dings". Supposed to have 100K actual miles. Asking price is $2700. If the truck has been discribed to me correctly, I am going to make a serious offer and plan to bring it home.

$600.00 to $12,000.00 depends in what condition and what it is has on it.

The 1976 Ford F250 Explorer has an automatic transmission which needs to be replaced. It has air conditioning which doesn't work. We do have an extra transmission which would go with the pickup. The truck has a 460 engine in it with approximately 60,000 miles on that engine. The actual mileage is 160,000. It is a long wheel base. The truck itself is in fair shape.

I think from your description, that $1000, should be enough. I knew a guy here, who sold a 74 1/2 ton with a 390/auto for 900 dollars and it was good shape with little rust.
