Blue smoke almost always suggests an issue with the injectors....

I had the same thing happen to me three times during the winter of '06, my truck would loose power, start coughing up bluish white smoke, and idle really rough. I thought that I'd lost an injector or two, but the problem was the lack of lubrication in the fuel system. It seems the station I'd been filling up at had a particularly dry load of ULSD. I had stopped using Diesel Kleen every tank like I used to and it caught up with me. I started using it again, it cleared up the problem, and it hasn't happened since.

With that in mind, 6.0s aren't like 7.3s and require much more love and attention. If you're not already running synthetic (5w40) that would be something to consider at your next oil change. Per my recommendation, I'd dump a full dose of the silver bottle in, fill up, and take it for a cruise on the freeway. If that doesn't clear things up, it may be a more serious problem.

I'll move this down to the 6.0 section to get you a more in-depth answer...
