1965 F250 Custom Cab
Well gang, I need to sell the old beast.
The truck was in decent condition when I got it but needed attention. I replaced the upper and lower hoses, flushed the radiator and block, put on a new Flex-a-lite fan. Rebuilt the carb. Removed, cleaned and sealed the gas tank. Replaced all the fuel hoses and reconnected the two saddle tanks. I replaced the valve cover gaskets, the oil pressure (light) switch. Rewired the electrics on the engine to get all the gauges working. New battery and battery cables. I replaced the starter. I had the exhaust manifolds machined and replaced the gaskets. I recovered the seat. I put in a new headliner. I sorted out all the lights and got them all working properly. I had to wire in a new license plate light. I put in a new speedometer cable. I just installed a new CD/MP3/USB stereo. I didn't have the heart to cut on her pristine dash, so I built a panel to mount it in the glove box. It has a remote which makes it easier to operate going down the road. She's 45 years old and is by no means "perfect". Her rear main seeps (not pours), she's got a few dents on the right front fender and as you can see in the pics, she's got a crack in the windshield. Other than that, she's fine. $5700 obo PM or email me ccain529@gmail.com http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j.../001Medium.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j.../002Medium.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j.../003Medium.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j.../004Medium.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j.../007Medium.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...008Medium2.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j.../010Medium.jpg |
