Jack "Ford Ranger"
My neighbor used to push cars off the track there with his White Toyota Pickup. It has been a few years since he did this but he did so for a long time. Elmer is his name. The wife, kids and I have enjoyed watching some good races out there! |
Hi yal,
I was just reading up on your free spin hub swaps. Did any of you go with the dyna trac swap. I see Layson went with the spytec. I'll have to look them up. Thats the first i've hear of them. Well, can yal give me a up date of how your new wheel bearings are holding up I'd appreciate it. I'm going to get some free spins but not sure witch ones. I run 38's and am on my 3rd set of unit bearings. I'm done with those. Thanks, :-drink |
I'm also looking into the free spin kit. I ran 38's for about 4 years on 18x10's and now I have run 40's on 18x12's for a year or so. My truck still has the factory unit bearings as far as I know.

I see how the dynatrac and spyntec kits are better for maintaining bearings. But I don't see how it's a stronger setup. I have a 85 Toyota 4x4 which has the same setup as the free spin kits. You still can't run really wide rims or big tires without bearing issues.
