dlc location in 1997 F350 5.8 4WD automatic

I've searched on this site, on the internet, and I can't find an exact location for the DLC on my 1997 F350. I've looked under the dash on the driver and passenger side. I checked under the hood and I'm not sure if I found it or not (on the driver side rear mounted to the fender).

I just got a equus 3160 reader and the dlc connector doesn't match it, but it might be because of the age of the truck.

any information would be appreciated, I'm lost!!!

ok, think my internet connection is acting up or something. I didn't see the replies until after I posted 'my' response...sorry about that.

thanks for the information. Obviously you guys are right, it's OBDI not OBDII. Oh well, I can use the scanner on my other 2 vehicles. Thanks for the help guys!
