How to mount a cargo net in 07 expedition?

I have purchased a cargo net originally intended for an excursion to mount in my wife's expedition. We have a steep driveway that is always causing cargo to roll out. Is it safe to remove the trim pieces at the rear to mount a D ring attachment?
If I can't mount it to the walls I was planning on building a fold up frame from the jack storage area.

I have the same dilemma. I was thinking of just screwing rings into the extremely cheap plastic in the rear over the wheels. Another thought i had was to mount one side of a net under the jack storage cover, the the other side to the door somehow. When you open the door, the net would stretch between the door and the floor ultimately trapping anything from rolling out. Crude, but a simple preventative measure - reach in from the sides to retrieve cargo. Just a thought, good luck

When I installed a net in a 2005 Subaru Forester it had funky rubber screw things. Basically you drill a half inch hole, stick the screw rubber thing through the hole, when you tighten the screw the rubber that is now behind the panel mushrooms out to create a pressure fit. It seems to work/hold very well. I imagine you could use something similar, just have to find a net wide enough.
