Yes, another tire question
I have a chance to get 5 Goodyear MTRs in size 315/75r16 at an AMAZING price. They are brand new with the tags still on them. They are the older non-kevlar models. My concern is that they are load range D and not E. How much of an issue is that? I haul a trail jeep on a trailer once or twice a month at the most. I have a 02 F350 crew cab SRW. THOUGHTS? THANKS!

I've run "D"s for years. Hauled heavy with them too. Just don't expect to much longevity. And maintain the air pressure. Those are pretty good tires, so I'd say go for it. That Jeep ain't that heavy.

Load range D's are probably more than sufficient for what you are towing. I say go for it if its that good of a deal.

I am trying to get the actual load rating and I cnnot seem to find it anywhere.

Earl, send 'em to me and I'll run them and tell you how they hold up as far as weight rating.

I ran Uniroyal Liberator AT's in 265/75R16D - they were rated for 3400lbs+ and lasted over 60,000 miles for me. I towed ~6000lbs somewhat regularly with them, no problems. You'll be fine.
