keyless entry and low tire light reset?
 

I resently bought a 08 F-150 XLT it has a keypad on the door How do I reset the code ,also how do I get rid of the low tire pressure light on the dash,one more ? where can I find an owners manual to read or download?

on the link on the left, click "Owners Guides"




you need the master Factory code to reset the code on your door. Since you don't have an owners manual, you will have to look at the printed sticker on the BCM...which is on the back wall of the truck behind the seat

do a search of this site for a guide on how to remove the seat to access that BCM to read the code...then follow the instructions for re-programming in the Owners Manual (see link above)




for your low pressure light. do you have stock rims/tires? or aftermarket?


if stock, go make sure all of the tires are at the same pressure and have at least 35 PSI. drive around a few miles and the light should go out.


if aftermarket rims, the prior owner probably cheapskated out and didn't install the TPMS sensor bands into the new rims.
