rear dvd monitor and head unit
 

I've got an 01 X with rear air and I am looking into putting a dvd 7" monitor in dash and about a 10" flipdown in the rear. My problem is my rear air controls are in the way of where I want to put monitor. Can I move that over and install monitor? Has anyone done that and what headunit and monitor did you use?

Don't have any details but I've seen a few that have moved the controls over.

That looks factory, I like that. I actually ended up searching lastnight and found a few guys that have done this. Thanks for the pic

you got any of the links ? I know a lot of people on here have looked for other options

i have a 10in in my 01 and it fits great 7 is small for the 3rd row i will take a paic for you

Thats exactly how mine is installed. My truck didnt come with the rear DVD system but I had it added on from my buddy who is an electronics installer. My Flipdown is an all in one unit, though. I have see some installers make a mold and custom form it to the contours of the roof, but it made it sit further down, and it eliminated the rear ac controls.
