1993 F150 Rim/Tire size - PLEASE HELP ME

Anyone have aftermarket rims/tires on their F150? I have a 93 F150, 2wd, Auto and was wondering what the largest replacement wheel tire combo is without any mods? If I understand all of the sizing correctly I believe I can either go with

15x8ish inch rims, 31's

or

16x8ish inch rims, 31's

What range of backspacing will work?

I am particularly interested in the following wheels

American Racing-- Wheels Catalog

and the following tires

Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels

Just looking for some advice for the best route to go... If I am replacing rims and tires is it beneficial to go with a 16 or should I stay with the 15?

Thanks in advance

u can go with 15x10's with 31's.... for 33's u will need a lift so the front wont scrub the fenders....in a few weeks im going to have 295/50/15's on my truck ill post a pick when i get them on.... but they are only 27" tall but wide should look great... i hope lol

how about backspacing.... the rims i am interested in seem to have a large backspacing.... will any of them work?

FWIW, I am running 31 x 10.50 x 15's on the stock 15 x 8 aluminum 10-hole rims.

The fronts cleared fine stock, just look a little better with the F350 coils in it.

i think they are like 3.75 inch's that are eagle alloys uhm series 058's thats what i have.... i want some black steel with the D windows like the craftsman truck series have... but 3.75" is the back spacing on mine and they dont hit anything.... oh and one more thing the tires might tuch the strut rods when u have them turned to the max in either direction nothing majo wont hurt any thing but u will have a shinny spot on them lol but thats what the 33's done on a truck the model of mine and my ram done the same thing nothing to worry bout tho

do the 350 coils raise the front end? is it an easy mod?

Just get a leveling kit. I believe its just bigger front coil springs. Thats what my truck has. I have 33/12.50/15 under it. It rubs on sharp turns but I can turn corners without a problem.

This isnt exact. I just did a quick search to give you an idea of what it is. I do not have any drop brackets though. My alignment is fine (dont understand all the technicalities of some of this stuff!?)
