how wide is my truck??
i need to know the width of my 88 f150. i am going to get a trailer so that i can pull it home and i need to make sure that it will fit on the trailer. its 4x2 with no mods. thanks :-drink

it should fit on any 16 foot utility trailer or on one of those uhaul full car haulers
|
Track width is ~ 65" depending on tires/rims. The width of the body is about 74" excluding mirrors.

My guess is that the truck isn't where he is and he needs to tow it home.

I tried to trailer a 1988 Bronco with 31 inch tires and factory aluminum wheels and the Broncos tires were too wide for the U haul tandem axle trailer. If the Bron had 235/75 x 15 tires-I think that it would have fit on the trailer.
I tried this back in 1998. It is possible that the U haul trailers are now different. The best bet would be to actually measure the width of the outside sidewalls of the F150 and actually measure the width of the trailer-before moving day. |
:-drink You're bad, bad man.
