Wow another month down, two to the end of the year. What have you been tinkerin with Don?

fabmandelux 11-01-2009 10:21 AM

Been working in my lab on a faster way to remove the glycerol from freshly made biodiesel. Also been working on shortening the frame on my 73 HiBoy so I can mount the 53 panel on it.

My son and I moved the chassis for his uni out of the barn and into the shop. Next step is to replace the cab floor so we can remount the body.

This is what the chassis and engine looks like now:

Thanks Dave. We spent over 200 hours on just the frame alone..........

I welded up all the body seams on the body already, now we just have to repair the cab floor, and finish up the body work and she'll be ready for finish paint. Another year or two and it might be finished!

I just skewer mine on the rotisserie and slow turn it over the BBQ coals, takes lots of charcoal but its worth it!

fabmandelux 11-02-2009 07:05 PM

We cook it the traditional way in the oven. We have a 25 pounder this year!

Old93junk 11-02-2009 07:16 PM
