I am the head of the AZ Chapter, sort of. I moderate the lists and kinda watch over everything from the sidelines.

Why don't we meet someplace for lunch on a Saturday Afternoon and figure out who is willing, and has the time, to handle setting up some events.

Suggestions are always welcome.

Thanks

Take a look at what I've been up to with the Tennessee Chapter, I think some of the topics there will be transient as we find things that interest folks, but the 4X4 sources, trails, and events topics are likely to be there for a long time to come!
(Although if we get our hands on a good map, the "Trails" topic may become "Trail Reports")

I'm still spinning out new ideas, and it's a trial and error kind of a thing. But the key is to make it something that you won't find anywhere else - an FTE exclusive!

And not a generic one, an info source that's built by the folks right down the street, so to speak. It's about coming together in a new way!!!

AZ has some great places to do a little rock climbing. But my Bronco II needs an engine rebuild. My 74 F-250 2wd needs some work and then I just found a parts truck for my 66 F-100. I need to find larger gas tanks and repaint my Sportster. And I have a 20 foot ski boat that needs some TLC. Plus I am working two jobs to try and afford to work on all of my toys when I get a chance. Too many toys, not enough time.

Four Wheeling is pretty low on list of things to do right now, so I need to find someone who would be willing to handle these type of events.

When it comes down to it, I really don't have the time right now to handle any events. I might be able to show up to some of the events once in a while, at least until I get some of my projects out of the way. Then I could handle some of the events, ( and would like to ).

Volunteers greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
:)

I live at Gilbert and Broadway in Mesa. Really, it doesn't matter right now where we meet. The weather is getting real nice so I would probally ride my Sportster anyway.

We could meet this weekend at the car show at 77th Ave. and Bell, or up at the track that I race at.

Anyone interesting in 4wd happenings should let me know. I know a number of people with fullsizes that wheel on a regular basis. We do play hard though, body damage is possible on almost everything we do. Most of the group is GM vehicles. Anyone wanting more info let me know.
