curious how vss in rear axle work by tell signal to speedometer

I am curious how it work.

Does it sent volt signal to speedometer from VSS? like variable volt depend how fast gear spin? Like golf cart with electric when you push pedal from start to full is that what it tell speedometer by volt signal?

Does 91 bronco have that or it use cable for speedometer?

Could you supply volt to vss by try turn miles to high? example like it have 20,000 miles but you want flip to more miles to make people say wow you drove too much.

That what I am curious about that now and want know how it work.

It's a pulsed signal. Each tooth sends a trigger signal (on or off) to the computer/PSOM which interpret the frequency of those pulses as a speed. A '91 Bronco should use a cable driven speedometer. I'm not sure what you're wanting to switch for more miles. Do you want it to count more miles the whole time or flip a switch and show a different number on the odometer?

Ok now I understand.

Reason I want to spin miles faster to show them that I drive too much. last year I put REAL 40,000 miles in 1 year on 79 F150 so I want them to surprise if I actual did make 60,000 or higher miles per year with bronco or 97 F150.

I actual want flip switch to get miles to spin to higher like it say 120,569 but want put more miles by say 128,000 but you didn't drive but just supply pulse signal.

The problem with your question is that it could be considered tampering with the odometer of your vehicle. Why not just tell them a big fish story like most people do rather than having proof?
