what ford rims will fit?

my truck is a 64 f250 4x4. i want to upgrade to taller and wider tires (nothing huge just 33's, 34's maybe 35's but not really wide like swampers etc). want to stay with an original looking rim but don't care about it being the correct year. would like to be able to put a hub cap on the back wheels that looks atleast somewhat original.

does anyone know (numberdummy?) what options i have for somewhat taller and wider tires. currently i have very narrow tires with 16.5" rims on the back and 16" split rims on the front. pretty ugly.

had the tire off the back rim so measured the width of the rim at about 7 1/2" outside to outside. can this rim fit taller wider tires.?

thanks
scott

Since the truck has no P/S, installing larger tires will make it tougher to steer.

1953/96 F250 and 1967/96 F350 wheels are all 8 lug on a 6.50" bolt circle.

1969/74 E300 & 1975/2002 E250/350 wheels are the same specs as above.

Will all these wheels fit? Depends on the backspacing.

Tubeless Tire Wheels (no split ring):

Thru 1966, the 16" wheels were 16" x 6"

Beginning in 1967, the 16" wheels were 16.5" x 6"

1967/79 F250 Camper Special wheels were 16.5" x 6.75"
